Derek Simpson is a custom jewelry designer based in New Haven, CT. January 2026 marks 55 years of serving the New Haven community, specializing in bridal, anniversary, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Derek will be retiring, and the store will officially close at the end of February 2026.

My Husband and I purchased both my engagement and wedding ring from Derek Simpson and we cannot say enough good things about both the experiences and the quality of the jewelry. Forget being unique and one of a kind and beautiful, both pieces I wear daily are conventional starters and works of art.
